Each April, in celebration of Earth Day, April 22, and Arbor Day, the last Friday of April, Buffalo State University hosts a celebration of sustainability, with the Sustainability Fair. Faculty, staff and students learn about the university's environmental and social justice initiatives for the campus and surrounding community. Also highlighted is the role of the Maud Gordon Holmes Arboretum in achieving these goals.
